The Storm

Ok guys. Picture this. You're outside on a beautiful, sunny spring day. You're feeling great, and everything feels like its going good. You decide to just relax for a while, but you start to see rainclouds in the distance. You think nothing of it, and you go back to relaxing. When you look up again, the rainclouds are getting closer than before. You think about going inside, but you decide that the rain is still off in the distance and it wont come near you. All of a sudden, you hear the thunder and the rain starts to pour down. Your clothes get soaked, but you feel like since you are already outside, you might as well just stay out. When the rain finally stops, it gets really cold, and you feel horrible, and you wished you would have gone inside. That is what it is like with masturbation. One minute you are feeling great and far away from it, but then the next minute you are feeling a little bit of temptation coming on,. You think that you can get through it, but then that little bit of temptation turns into a lot. With all of that temptation, you feel like you have to masturbate to get rid of it. Then, even though you know that you shouldn't, you start to do it. When you stop, you feel horrible and sad and hopeless inside. But you don't need to feel hopeless, because there is always hope in Jesus. No matter how much and how often you masturbate, Jesus still loves you. Masturbation is a really hard thing to get through, but it is necessary to live a life completely for God. Hello! Well, this is my first post, so I will keep it short and to the point. I know that purity is a big issue with teenage guys today. I am a teenage guy, so I would know. It can get really hard staying pure, but it is totally worth it in the end. My goal is to get as many teenage guys to choose purity as I can. I will have more posts to come!
